IELTS Writing Task 1 Sample Answer

The table presents the results of a survey where first-year students evaluated five aspects of courses taken: pre-course information, teaching quality, tutor support, print resources, and other resources.

Business studies received the highest ratings across almost all categories, with at least 80% of students finding each aspect very good.

Teaching quality was the most highly rated aspect overall, with an impressive 96% of Business students satisfied, followed closely by Economics (95%) and Law (67%).

Pre-course information seems to be an area that needs improvement, with Economics and Law receiving the lowest ratings in this category (55% and 72%, respectively).

In terms of resources, Business again stood out with both print resources (80%) and other resources (85%) receiving high marks from students. Law fared slightly better than Economics in both resource categories, with 70% and 85% of students rating them as very good, respectively.

Overall, the survey highlights student satisfaction with the teaching and support provided in first-year courses, particularly in Business studies. However, there seems to be room for improvement in terms of pre-course information for Law and Economics programs.
