This can be anything from your hometown to your favorite hobby.

One possible cue card is "Describe a sculpture." Here are some tips on how to answer this cue card.

Describe a sculpture or other work of art you recall seeing

Sample Answer:

One majestic sculpture that I recall seeing is the " Venus de Milo" in the Louvre Museum in Paris. This work of art dates back to ancient Greece and is a marble statue of the goddess Venus. The statue is life-size and depicts Venus standing with her arms by her sides.

What I found most interesting about this sculpture was its beauty and the fact that it has survived for so many centuries. Seeing this work of art in person was a truly memorable experience.

I saw it when I was about 20 and I remember being struck by its beauty. I didn't know much about art at the time, but I could appreciate the skill that had gone into creating such a lifelike statue. I also found it fascinating to think about how this sculpture has survived for thousands of years. It's a testament to the strength of marble as a material, as well as the skill of the ancient Greek artists.

During my trip, I was lucky enough to see many thought-provoking statues, sculptures, and works of art, but the Venus de Milo will always be one of my favorites.

The Venus de Milo is world-famous, created by the Greek artist Alexandros of Antioch during the 2nd century BCE. It is made from marble and depicts the goddess Aphrodite. The statue stands over six feet tall.

Seeing the "Venus de Milo" in person was definitely a highlight of my trip to Paris. It's an iconic work of art that is instantly recognizable, and it was amazing to see it up close. If you're ever in Paris, I would recommend taking the time to see it for yourself.
