Example answer 1:

I originally studied International Business at university and then worked for a few years in a multinational company. While working I realized that in order to develop my professional career to the full I would have to expand my knowledge base and acquire managerial skills as well as a wider and more in-depth exposure to business-related matters. That’s when I decided to enroll in an MBA course.

I’m currently working as a Data Analyst but I’d like to move into a more senior role in the future. That's why I've decided to study for an MBA.
